In search of a more natural solution for health wellness, I was introducted to essential oils, hesitant at first, I began to research for myself, I soon discovered that essential oils have many benefits and are so easy to use, they have been used for thousands of years and are even mentioned in the Old Testament.  I began to integrate them into my everyday lifestyle and became and believer!

FRANKINCENSE ESSENTIAL OIL

Also known as the King of essential oils

Renowned as one of the most prized and precious essential oils, Frankincense has extraordinary internal and external health benefits. In addition to its notoriety in the New Testament, the Babylonians and Assyrians would burn Frankincense in religious ceremonies and the ancient Egyptians used Frankincense resin for everything from perfume to salves for skin ailments. This centuries- old knowledge contributes to the modern uses of Frankincense today. It’s soothing and beautifying properties are used to rejuvenate skin and reduce the appearance of scars and stretch marks. As the king of oils, Frankincense is known to promote cellular health and immunity and can be consumed daily for these internal benefits. It also promotes a healthy inflammatory response and acts as an overall tonic to the body’s systems, helping them function optimally. When inhaled or diffused, Frankincense induces feelings of peace, relaxation, satisfaction, and overall wellness.

DIY After-Sun Soothing Spray with doTERRA Essential Oils

Sun exposure is good, but too much of it can cause irritated skin. Next time you deal with discomfort from too much sun, try this after-sun soothing spray with essential oils to help provide the relief your skin needs.  

You Need:

16-ounce glass spray bottle
1 cup aloe vera juice
1/4 cup Fractionated Coconut Oil
1 teaspoon vitamin E
8 drops Lavender essential oil
8 drops Melaleuca essential oil
8 drops Peppermint essential oil

Note: You can  find Aloe Vera Juice at your local health food store.

Directions:

Combine all ingredients into a glass spray bottle. Shake to combine. You’re done!
